REALITY TV SHOW SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING PROJECT
Ath Pavura is a reality TV show telecasted on the ITN TV channel.
It’s a platform that connects Social Entrepreneurs with Impact Investors.
Social Entrepreneurs pitch their business model
to a panel of five Impact Investors for a chance to receive an investment.
We helped Ath Pavura to expand their
reach and connect with their target audience
through social media. We also identified several
challenges they faced and created social media
based strategies to solve them.
CHALLENGE 01
From the feedback we received through social media, we identified that many viewers had a negative point of view on this show.
We identified the following reasons.
1) People were disconnected from the brand & didn’t see the impact made through this initiative.
2) Lack of awareness about the concept of investing.
SOLUTION
People didn’t see anything beyond investors making promises on TV. We created content to show what happens after receiving an investment.
We posted entrepreneur stories of how they developed their businesses and expanded their social impact with the support of Ath Pavura investors.
CHALLENGE 02
The efforts of two major teams behind Ath Pavura went unnoticed.
Ath Pavura was founded by Lanka Impact Investing Network and Social Enterprise Lanka. But viewers were unaware of the 2 companies and assumed that the media network owns the show.
SOLUTION
There was a huge process behind the TV show from providing entrepreneurship training to co-ordinating investors and social enterprises after providing the investment.
We focused our content to show the process which viewers don’t see on TV.
